Muffler Muscle Style Baffled Cross Bike by Witchdoctors

These mufflers have all the stock internal baffles removed and they are reworked by Witchdoctors to give you that deep rumble sound you want in a low cost package. Kit comes with 2 mufflers & clamps to put the heat shields back on. Customers stated that no changes are needed to the engine. Power was increased a bit and installation was very easy.

HERE IS SOME FEEDBACK FROM A CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASED THESE PIPES.

Here are my thoughts and opinions:

SOUND:
The quality of the sound is great. Low and throaty with a deep tone. At idle you that's what you're getting, get on the throttle and it opens up with a low raspy full of attitude sound. Overall I am more than pleased. My father rides an '11 Road King. At idle I felt like my bike was a little deeper in the rumble. At speed I felt as though it was a tad bit throatier but overall comparative in sound. He commented to me that he loved the sound that emanated from the bike when I was in the lead.

POWER:
I guess the argument could be made that it feels a little more powerful. I think though that is something that my ears tell me not necessarily anything else. I have no dyno and do not intend too.

MODS:
I took the stock cans off and on went the WD's. I did not, nor plan on, removing the O2 sensors or the air strip. The stock air filter remains. I guess it's semi-important to note that I had WD cut the stock tips back on the cans before he shipped which, I might add, he did at no cost to me. The tips were cut back until about 3/4 to 1 inch remained. I am using the stock chrome tips for now.

PERFORMANCE:
With more than 900 miles now on them I can say that I have not noticed any decline in performance or MPG's but have noticed a dramatic increase in the smile factor... With 807 miles on the one trip I averaged 55 MPG which was calculated when the gas pump first tripped. After top off I was getting 45 MPG. Overall the gauge was reading 48.6 MPG throughout the trip which is pretty accurate given my own two calculations and given the proximity to both.

I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend the WD's to anyone that asks my opinion. I live near OKC, OK if anyone cares to give a listen before making their purchase. I would even travel a distance given the right weather and my wife's OK.

ANOTHER REVIEW: I don't have XC but I had Jon install a set of baffled pipes on my Vision last week and they sound great. Every once in awhile if I shift at a certain spot I will get a pop when I pull the clutch in and you can hear them rumble when decelerating but not popping. Cruising down the highway all I can hear is a faint rumble but my buddies said they sound great riding behind me. My bike is 100% stock no other mods. On the way home after getting the pipes installed the instant mpg was showing 2-4mpg higher than it was on the way to Jon's shop not sure how accurate the actual number is but it was higher. If you want a loud pipe to shut up the harley guys then get the unbaffled it sounds amazing if you just want a good rumble get the baffled pipe.
