Witchdoctors.com Helps Out Fort Myers Beach Residents with Generous Donation

With its beginning in 2009, Witchdoctors.com has long been known to be the worlds largest online retailer for both Victory and Indian motorcycle aftermarket and OEM parts and accessories. With Polaris ending production in 2017 and shutting its doors on the Victory brand many other vendors ceased production of Victory specific parts. Witchdoctors took the challenge head on of supporting Victory riders. First by buying up struggling business, second by ramping up production on many parts no longer made and finally seeking out dealers who had remaining inventory available. Witchdoctors catch phrase "Here for You Now More Than Ever" seems fitting. From their top notch customer service, fast free shipping, stocking the parts their customers want and don't forget over 200 YouTube videos its easy to see why they are number one with Victory & Indian enthusiasts. Don't forget the Tootsie Rolls - and for mama too! Who does that!

I talked to Jon Petrich the owner of Witchdoctors the other day because I know he spent quite a bit of time on Ft Myers Beach and asked what he thought about all the damage done by hurricane Ian and if he had any customers there. "It's devastating to see the destruction. Places we used to go to are utterly gone no walls no floors nothing. Many places are just leveled to the ground. Its heart breaking what these people are and will be going through for the months and probably years to come." I asked if he was planning on going down to help any friends or customers he knew. He stated that he would love to go down but he understood right now isn't a good time. Outsiders really are not allowed to go on the island for safety reasons and the fire and police already have their hands full but he does plan on going down later on.

He then brought me over to the computer and said "Just because I'm not going down doesn't mean I cant help. I have been blessed with health, family, friends, a wonderful girlfriend and a very successful business. For many years we have been giving back to the Victory & Indian motorcycle communities with weekly gift card drawings, donations to events and helping out some individuals who can use it. Now is just another time to step up and help people in need from a place I loved to go". Petrich continued, "Like everyone else I followed the news about what was happening and then came across Beach Talk Radio on Facebook.Beach talk radio ft myers beach

This dude does an amazing job keeping the residents informed, raising money for them and helping out. I don't sleep much but this dude and his wife have me beat by a mile. I really don't know how he does it!"

Jon went on to tell me that he started to correspond with the "dude" his name is really Ed, via email, messenger and phone about what he needed the most. Before you knew it Jon had a list lined up of items that would be of the most use."I'm not a hand out cash kinda person, I figure if I can get supplies and stuff like that down there it will help out even more. There are a lot of people who can donate gift cards but not so many that can buy a generator. That's where I come in."

Jon showed me his list of what he was shipping down to Ed & his wife Kim to hand out to the residents in need. WOW, UNBELIEVABLE is all I could say!  View the list of items Witchdoctors.com donated View list here.

Petrich went on to say "Giving back is a gift we all have. This country has become so fixated on "me' that it seems like manners and the Golden Rule don't matter. Every person can't give money and many don't have the luxury to give their time but you can still smile or hold the door open for someone.'

"Its the little things that matter."

Petrich told me another place he frequently visits and donates to Is CROW.
Clinic for the Rehabilitation Of Wildlife on Sanibel Island. CROW was also heavily damaged by hurricane Ian.

His love for animals and their well being is why he feels this is a worthy cause. "When a wild animal is hurt there are not to many choices on where you can take them. CROW is a great place and handles just about every type of bird, reptile or mammal. Their education and visitor centers are a great place to visit for the whole family" states Petrich.
