A – In short, yes – you have all the rights in the world to install and use a seat belt delete jumper for offroad UTV’s. Disabling safety systems for those vehicles who are designed for on-road driving is not legal. So, for offroad vehicles like Can-Am and Polaris side-by-sides are ok.
Q – Does a Seat Belt Delete Jumper Require Special Tools to Install?
A – Not at all. This seat belt bypass plug is literally a snap in fitment. All you need to do is remove the seats, shifter shroud, and a few other items, locate the OEM seat belt connector (which is typically stuffed behind the seat belt). You’ll remove the connector to the seat belt, and snap in the delete jumper.
